Russian-flagged, homeport St. Petersburg, IMO 9372547, MMSI 273345020 and callsign UEVN. Gross tonnage 49.597 tons, summer deadweight 72.722 tons and as dimensions 257 x 34 x 9,8 metres. Built in 2008 by Samsung Shipbuilding&Heavy Industries, Goeje, South Korea. Owned by Sovcomflot, Moscow, Russia and managed by Unicom Management Services St. Petersburg, St. Petersburg, Russia. Sister ships Shturman Albanov and Kapitan Gotsky. These tankers were built with an ice-enhanced hull structure of the LU6 (1A Super) ice-class able to be operated in area with temperature of 40 degrees below Zero and able to break through 1,5 metres thick used without needing an icebreaker.
