The Sardinian navy and Tripoli according to the Nederlandsche Staatscourant dated 21 September 1825

Rotterdam, 19 September. The consul general of Sardinia announced that the pasha of Tripoli ordered to seized all Sardinian ships in his harbour caused by a wrong explanation of the agreements between him and the Sardinian king. The latter send immediately a squadron to sea with ordered to protect their ships against the privateers and that the agreements would be maintained.
