The Colombian, Swedish and Turkish navies according to the Nederlandsche Staatscourant dated 30 August 1825

Stockholm, 12 August. In last week were orders send to Karlskrona to prevent Swedish officers to enter the ships bought by the Business Michaelson and Benedicks despite their permission. These ships were the ships of the line Forsigkigheten (1) and the frigates Camilla (2) and Eurydice (3) which were there fitted out. According to rumours was the departure even forbidden or at least temporarily delayed. It was thought that the government wanted the ships back something which was possible due to the restrictions of the contract. The messengers which brought the first orders to Karlskrona departed from Stockholm the 9th. The ship of the line Tapperheten (4) and frigate Capman bought earlier by the same business house all ready departed. The orders were send while it became known that the ships were destined for an expedition by lord Cochrane against the Turkish and the Swedish Government didn’t want to offend the Turkish Porte. At Karlskrona was 30 July the Preciosa launched.
