Former USS Hardhead (SS365) of the Guppy IIA-class, laid down by the Manitowoc SB Co. Ltd 7 July 1943, launched 12 December 1943 and commissioned April 1944. Bought/transferred by/to Greece 26 July 1972. Displacement 1.840 tons standard and 2.445 tons submerged, dimensions 306 x 27 x 17 and a speed of 17 knots surfaced and 15 knots submerged. Armed with 6-21” bow torpedo tubes and 4-21” stern torpedo tubes. Her crew numbered 84 men.
