Vienna, 16 August. Tidings from Zante dated 12th July mentioned that the squadron commanded by the Tahir-pasha (Captain Bey) past 31 May Zante coming from Navarino destined towards Patras, arriving there 4th June there with just 7 ships. The other 21, including the ship of the admiral, stayed at sea cruising in the waters of Chiarena as far as Cape Ducato. The 16th they joined the other ships at Patras. The 23rd returned the squadron towards Navarino, appearing 5th July however again off Patras. After 5 days departed the squadron the 10th towards Navarino.
