Russian battleship Tsessarevitch 1899-1917 (Grashdanin 1917-) and Grashdanin 1917-1922


Laid down at Compagnie des Forges et Chantiers de la Méditerranée à la Seyne, France in June 1899, launched on 23 February 1901, commissioned in August 1903, renamed Grashdanin in 1917 and broken up in 192.. With a displacement of 12,915 tons were her dimensions 388'9" (over all) x 76'1" x 26'(maximum). The engines joined by 20 Belleville boilers supplied 16,500 ihp allowing a speed of 18,5 knots. The coal bunker capacity was maximum 1,350 tons. Her crew numbered 782 men. The original armament consisted of 2x2-12" guns, 6x2-6" guns, 20-11pdrs, 4-15" torpedo tubes and 45 mines; later were two tubes removed. The armour consisted of a 7-10' belt ending in 4 3/4- 6 3/4", the main gun turrets were protected by 10" and the secondary gun turrets by 6" and the conning tower by 10".
