In the Dordrechtse Courant dated Thursday 30 January 1840 was the next small news item published. The news from Alexandria dating until 29 December nothing special, that day will the kapitein Pacha to honour Mehemed-Ali by giving a large feast on board of the Turkish ship of the line Mahmudieh.
