Italy building Soviet warships and schooling Russian shipyard labourers according to the Dutch newspaper Het Vaderland: staat- en letterkundig nieuwsblad evening edition dated 10 December 1930

According to a tiding from Rome dated 10 December contained the in August economical treaty between Italy and the Soviet Union also provisions dealing with the increase of the Russian navy with Italian help. In Italy were ships to be build and Russian labourers were to be schooled at Italian shipyards. To finance the shipbuilding supplied Italy Russia a credit for ¾ part of the value of these ships. When the treaty was signed was officially declared that the intention was a close economic cooperation between both countries.
