Naval operations of the Dutch East Company at Mokka according to the Generale Missive dated 30 November 1729

The Huis ten Donk loaded just 100.000 in stead of 200.000 lb pepper at Cochin. There was seriously suspicion that the ship was used for private trading. In 1730 sailed the Karsenhof towards Mokka [Yemen] with a cargo valued fl. 30.000., mainly sugar and other species.
