Part of the Project 1607 class designed by Ivan Skuridin of which 14 ships were build at the Zhdanov Shipyard at Leningrad, Russia. With a GRT of 8,460 tons and a DWT of 4,600 tons were her dimensions 139,63 x 19,23 x 6,62 metres. The service speed was 13,0 knots. The lane measured 1,270 metres. was able to carry 242 TEU containers/422 cars. The crew numbered just 35 men. Fitted out with a conventional cruiser type stern while she was loaded via the bow through a huge bow visor. This visor could be slewed sideways 45 degress or unfold downwards by 4,5 metres which made her suitable to be used as a tank landing craft on beaches! She became later property of the Ukrainian shipping company Commercial Fleet of Donbass (CFD) and renamed Sea Albatross. She arrived in February 2007 at Zeebrugge, Belgium while being chartered by Pure Lines for a monthly line and was finally sold to be broken up under her new name Alba.
