London, 7 March. Since Captain Warren with the Seringapatnam left Cuba was just one tiding dealing with piracy arrived. A schooner was plundered off Cape San Antonio but shortly afterwards captured the American schooner the Spark the pirate and sent her to Baltimore. There it was discovered that she was fitted out at Havana. Although the merchants in public complained that the warships did not protect enough their interests they refused to accept the help of the frigate Active as offered by captain King (1). King left while escorting three merchant ships until the position 28 degrees 30 minutes before sailing further to England.
