It was decided that the home ward bound ships were to be armed with more guns to be able to defend their selves in case of hospitalities between the Netherlands and other European countries. A ship of 160 feet in stead of 32 was armed with 38 guns, a ship of 145 feet 36 instead of 28 and a ship of 130 feet with 36 in stead off 22 guns. Value of cargo’s loaded for:
