Dutch East Indiaman serving off Bengal according to the Generale Missive dated 16 December 1735

On 9 December arrived from Hooghly the Jacoba, Schonauwen and Delfland. The Groenswaart was still underway. Value of the total cargo was ƒ 1.447.218 of which ƒ 1.411.477 destined for the Netherlands and ƒ 35.741 for the India trade. Eleven ships of the south trade arrived 3 November in the Ganges, the Hof niet altijd Winter however was 6 October at Bimlipatam but feared to be driven by the North West monsoon towards Pegu of Arakan. In November was the departure of the Sleewijk, Haften and Spieringshoek towards Batavia and of the Elsbroek and Hartenlust towards the Netherlands ordered. After arrival of the so called Patnase fleet were the Loenderveen and Huis te Spijk to set sail for Batavia with a cargo including opium.
