Dutch East Indiaman serving off Batavia according to the Generale Missive dated 16 December 1735

The expedition towards Manila for the fled crew of the chialoup Langerak was a success. Of the 27 crewmembers the Spanish governor handed over 18. For the loss of the ship and cargo was 6,500 realen paid. There was to be an investigation dealing with the behaviour of her officers. Her steersman was found innocent. He didn’t destroy the ships’ papers afraid to be thought being a pirate. From the Netherlands arrived 20 November the Patmos and 12 and 13 December the Hogersmilde and Land van Belofte. 29th September departed with the Hogersmilde also the Hillegonda, Opperdoes and Bethlehem from the Cape. The Magdalena and the Ridderkerk arrived 27 and 29 September in the Table Bay. The Bethlehem, Land van Belofte and Hof niet altijd Zomer were destined to be part of the 2nd homeward bound fleet.
