Naval operations of the Dutch East Company at Persia according to the Generale Missive dated 30 November 1729

The Samaritaan arrived 9 May off the coast of Malabar coming from Persia with a cargo valued fl. 391.304, including fl. 311.923 of silver and golden coins. She was lost in a storm 21 May. A request from Gamron for 2 ships with 250 men and mortars and guns to act against Hormuz was denied. With the Borssele was a cargo valued fl. 302.133 sent towards Persia.
