The Spanish squadron commanded by don Cordiva according to the Dutch newspaper Middelburgsche Courant dated 16 February 1782

Madrid, 21 January. The Spanish squadron commanded by don Cordiva departed with the convoy to open sea. It consisted of the 92-gun la Concepion, 23-70 guns, 1-66 gun, 3-60 guns, 1-56 gun, 6-80 guns, 5-36 guns, 1-18 gun, 4 belanders of 20, 18 and 14 guns and 2 galliots (1-8 and 1-6 gun). The convoy consisted of 1-80 guns, 1-66 guns, 2-60 guns, 1-36 gun, 12 register ships and 35 transports, totally 99 ships with an unknown destination. This figures can’t be correct!
