Tankers of the Anglo-Saxon Petroleum Company Ltd. Handed over to her subsidiary La Coruna at The Hague according to the Dutch newspaper Algemeen Handelsblad evening edition dated 21 September 1926

A news item reported that the British steam tanker Absia of 5,218 gross and 3,170 net tons, build in 1918 at the yard of Harland&Wolff Ltd. at Glasgow, Scotland owned by the Anglo-Saxon Petroleum Company Ltd. At London was handed over her subsidiary La Corona at The Hague and was to serve within short time under the Dutch flag. Another 7 ships of the mother company of around similar size were also to be handed over to the La Corona. All ships were to keep their original names. The Nieuwe Rotterdamsche Courant morning edition dated 24 September published an item dated Rotterdam 20 September confirming this tiding.
