Brazilian convoys and Argentinean neutrality according to the Dutch newspaper Dagblad van Rotterdam dated 29 April 1942

An item dated Rio de Janeiro 29 April reported that for the first time Brazilian warships with a total number of 7 departed to escort Brazilian merchant ships and to start with the tankers coming from Middle and South America towards Brazil. The Argentinean government announced in the meantime that she refused make her harbours available to the belligerentss.
