Russia ordered British shipyard to build warships according to the Dutch newspaper Algemeen Handelsblad morning edition dated 23 August 1907

The newspaper Daily Chronicle reported that the department of foreign affairs received a tiding that the Russian government contracted a British firm to build battleships, cruisers and gunboats for a total amount of 7,000,000 pound sterling.
