Russian naval moments in the Archipelago according to the Dutch newspaper Opregte Groninger Courant dated 6 April 1770

According to an item dated Cologne 31 March were the tidings received there and dealing with the Russian navy quite different. Some tidings reported that all ready some Russian ships arrived in the Archipelago and acted against the Ottoman Empire while other tidings reported that just 3 Russian ships appeared off Morea and other islands. Nobody knew where the ships were to gather but regarded the worse state of the Turkish navy were (much) problems during the first stage of actions not expected.
