Dutch East India Company appointed masters of the so-called Christmas ships according to the Dutch magazine Maandelyksche Nederlandsche Mercurius dated August 1759

The East India Company chamber Amsterdam ordered appointed as master of Christmas ships the Vrouwe Geertruda of 150 feet Willem Hoogland, of the Scholtenburg of 140 feet Steven Lodewyk de Lill, of the Vrouwe Elizabeth Dorothea of 125 feet Klaes Anderson and of the Petronella Maria Jan Elzevier.
