An announcement reported that the brokers Jacob Beyerman de Jonge and Willem van Dame J.H. Zoon intended to sell that day at 15.00 o’clock in the tavern het Zwynshoofd at Rotterdam the extra ordinary well sailing fluytship De Goede Hoop, last commandeur Jan Jacobse Vroom, dimensions 112¾’ x 28¾’x 12¾’, height between deck 7¼’ and all the whale catchers tools.
