Prussian flotilla of Wollin annihilated by Swedish according to the Dutch magazine Maandelyksche Nederlandsche Mercurius dated October 1759

Tidings from Stettin reported that in the town Wollin a small flotilla of 11 small ships was fitted out armed with some guns and militia to defend themselves against the Swedish galleys. The Swedish attacked however with a force of 29 ships and captured 8 of the 11 small ships. Although claimed to be ships of the 1st rank it were in fact no more as boats or launched compared by the one recently captured by the British admiral off the coast of Algarve. The 100 captured guns were in fact just iron swivels like the ones used on board of merchant ships.
