USA handed over river gunboats to South Vietnamese navy according to the Dutch newspaper Amigoe di Curacao dated 30 June 1969

An item reported that the general Creighton W. Abrahams, the American supreme commander in Vietnam as representative for the USA handed 64 river gunboats over the South Vietnamese navy. At that moment numbered the US navy 19,000 men and 600 ships.
