British transport Dunera returning with wounded soldiers from South Africa according to the Dutch newspaper Vlissingse Courant dated 29 January 1900

An item reported that at two days earlier the transport Dunera arrived in England with on board 6 wounded officers and 187 men. Among them was lieutenant Gilliatt 15 times hit at Elandslaagte and still limping caused by three bullets in his leg which were not yet removed. Corporal Anderson of the Royal Highlanders since the shelling at the Modderriver deaf and silent was during the voyage recovered.
