An item dated Batavia 9 May reported that the government was unpleased when the tiding received that when 18 February the island Amboina surrendered to the British frigates Cornwallis (1) and Dover Batavia

2. Launched as Caron at the Bombay Dockyard, India for account of Bruce, Fawcette&Co., on 21 July 1792, sold to the British Royal Navy in 1805, renamed HMS Duncan and in 1807 HMS Dover, wrecked of Madras on 2 May 1811.
3. The 7th cahrter of the Admiralty of the Maze which was bouhght in 1781 and bought in England in 1785?
