Sea tidings from Batavia, Dutch East Indies according to the Dutch newspaper Bataviasche koloniale courant dated 22 June 1810

At Soerabaja arrived the 7th the Discoverij coming from Banda with a valuable cargo of spices. The 10th departed the ship de Goede Trouw with a similar cargo from Banda to be followed by the brig Anna Maria also loaded with spices. The same day departed the brig Koninklijke Hollander to Europe.
From Banjoewangie departed the corvette Javaan which earlier entered the anchorage at Passouroung after having some troubles underway.
In the Marak bay arrived two brigs from Isle de France [Mauritius'bought there by the government and loaded and bringing some passengers and according to the rumours important tidings with them.
At Batavia arrived in the last 14 days vessels loaded with rice coming from Cheribon, Tagal and other places along the North East Coast. The 15th departed the cutter Tranquebar and the 17th the government schooner de Beschutter and some smaller vessels towards the West. In the afternoon of the 18th was on the roads a Chinese junk burned due to her careless crew.
