Coal transport Alice wrecked according to the Dutch newspaper Zierikzeesche Nieuwsbode dated 18 July 1901

An item dated London 16 July reported that due to heavy gales the transport Alice with a cargo of coal underway from Cardiff to Cape Town was stranded off Cape Town.
