German troops captured Russian transport Malvik or Baltic according to the Dutch newspaper Middelburgsche Courant dated 12 March 1918

An item reported that according to tidings received from Wasa it seemed that German troops by surprise the transport Malvik captured which was to transport Russian soldiers to Finland. A German force of 300 military cyclists and 2,000 men of the infantry with artillery landed on the Finnish Westcoast. The De Zeeuw of day later called her Baltic and that she was to transport soldiers and sailors. The landing was at Abö.
