Sea tidings from Batavia, Dutch East Indies according to the Dutch newspaper Bataviasche koloniale courant dated 19 April 1811

In the afternoon of the 11th anchored a ship coming from the North near the other British ship at the Westside of the island Edam joined by another one which anchored North east of the island Leijden.
In the night of the 12th departed the cartel ship from the island Amsterdam. Of the three British ships mentioned on the 11th departed one to the North and the other two anchored North of the islands Alkmaar and Hoorn.
The 13th was the ship off the island Hoorn out of sight.
The 15th departed the British ships off the islands Amsterdam and Alkmaar, one was lost out of sight towards the East, the other anchored outside the reef of Smitje.
The 16th anchored a ship coming from the North near the island Haarlem followed by another one which anchored inside the Maronde.
The 17th departed the British ship from the reef of Smitje to the island Edam, the one off the island Haarlem moved further away to the North West and the one inside the Marone joined the one off the island Edam.
The 18th was the British ship in he North West out of sight.
