Soviet naval commissar Tevossian underway to Berlin for negotiations according to the Dutch newspaper De Indische Courant dated 26 October 1939

An item dated Moscow 25 October reported that the commissar responsible for the Russian naval shipbuilding Ivan Tevossian departed the 25th to Berlin accompanied by 45 trade exports to discuss the exchange of stores.(1)

1. This must be Ivan Tevossian responsible for Soviet naval rebuilding program ordered by Stalin. Similar to the Soviet politican Ivan or Iwan with his back name spelled as Fëdorov, Fjodorowitch and Fiodovich (1902-1958).
