An item dated Madrid 22 August supplied more details about the mutiny in the Spanish navy. In the Spanish naval base Carthagena were some sailors surprised while reading the communistic newspaper of Madrid which was forbidden literature just like other pure political papers. The men were disciplinary punished with as result a short period of refusing to serve. In the official government paper was an order published according to which naval sailors and labourers of the arsenals with a permanent job were not permitted to be member of a political party.
