Dutch bark ship Maarten van Rossum bound for the Dutch East Indies according to the Dutch newspaper Nieuwe Rotterdamsche Courant dated 18 April 1869

An announcement reported that the fast coppered Dutch bark ship Maarten van Rossum captain C. Laseur would depart Rotterdam directy towards Samarang and possible to Batavia. The latter destination to embark the passengers for which there were excellent accommodations. For more details could be asked at owners Van Overzee&Co. and shipbrokers P.A. van Es&Co. at Rotterdam nd De Coningh&Co. at Amsterdam.(1)
