Dutch merchant frigate Elizabeth bound for the Dutch East Indies according to the Dutch newspaper Nieuwe Rotterdamsche Courant dated 18 April 1869

An announcement reported that the 1.500 tons clipper frigate Elizabeth captain Y. Feenstra would depart end May from the Nieuwediep towards Java. She was now lying at Amsterdam. Well known as East Indies passenger ship due to excellent accommodations. On board was a doctor. For more details could be asked at owners Gebrs. Goedkoop and shipbrokers De Coningh&Co.(1)
