British firms involved in Turkish improvement of naval facilities according to the Dutch newspaper Rotterdamsch Nieuwsblad dated 6 December 1913

An item reported that the Turkish minister of navy and representatives of the firms Armstrong, Maxim and Vickers signed a contract for a new fitting out of the naval arsenal at Istanbul and the founding of shipyards and docks in Ismid. The newly founded company would lent the Turkish cabinet 12.000.000 Dutch guilders.
