British steamship Northlands torpedoed by German submarine according to the Dutch newspaper Nieuwsblad van Friesland dated 6 April 1915
An item dated London 6 April reported that the British steamship Northlands of 2.776 tons was torpedoed by a German submarine on the 5th off Beachy Head. She sunk within ten minutes. Her crew was saved by the Belgian steamship Topar.
