Dutch clipper bark ship Soerabija Packet bound for Surabaya, Dutch East Indies according to the Dutch newspaper Nieuwe Rotterdamsche Courant dated 29 March 1868

An announcement reported that the well known extremely fast clipper bark ship Soerabija Packet captain S.C.J. Olivier was to depart Amsterdam on very short notice towards Surabaya taking the major part of her cargo already on board. For more details could be asked at shipbrokers W.J. Langeveld junior&Co.(1)

The edition dated 11 May 1869 reported that she was leave on 20 May directly towards Surabaya visiting Batavia for embarking passengers and that was yet just one cabin available. The other details were the same to the announcement dated 29 March 1868.
