Dutch frigate ship Gesina homeward bound according to the Dutch newspaper Javasche Courant dated 2 September 1840

An item reported that the newly built frigate ship Gesina captain C.L. Adboll was to depart Batavia middle October towards the Netherlands. Excellent passenger accommodation and a skilled doctor. For more details could be asked at the captain in Surabaya or Frazer, Easton&Co. and in Batavia at Paine, Stricker&Co.(1)

1. The newspaper De Avondbode dated 29 July 1839 reported that she would be launched on 30 July at the shipyard Holland by the shipbuilders Blok&Co. in the Groote Wittenburgerstraat the frigate ship Gesina would be launched.
