An announcement reported that notary Bruinsma on Tuesday 11 January at 09.00 o’clock at Hollum, Ameland and with open water intended to sale the hull with masts and bowsprit of the Russian bark ship Helena captain E.F. Karlsson. She was stranded on the inner beach at the south side near Hollum. The sale was authorized by the Russian consular agent n Harlingen C. Harmens.
