British submarines active around Helsingfors according to the Dutch newspaper Rotterdamsch Nieuwsblad dated 25 November 1914

An item referred to the newspaper of Helsingborg which reported that according to a reliable source five British submarines were active in the Finnish Gulf. Some were already some days lying off Helsingfors and British officers were sighted on shore. The Russian fleet which earlier left Helsingfors returned and during her arrival was a large cruiser grounded in the harbour and still not salvaged. In principle was the entrance to the harbour now a forbidden area.
