Dutch frigate ship Wassenaar launched in Amsterdam, Netherlands according to the Dutch newspaper Dagblad van ‘s-Gravenhage dated Friday 27 September 1839

An item reported that Tuesday afternoon at 13.30 o’clock at the shipyard de Walvisch shipbuilder Jan Nuveen launched the frigate ship Wassenaar of 800 tons for W.P. Pook van Baggen (1) captain K. Spiegelberg destined for the Dutch East Indies trade.
