An item reported that a German submarine returned to Wilhelmshafen with on board two survivors of the Norwegian steamship Eika of 1.50 tons. The fate of the Eika was unknown since she was last sighted on 27 January off Cape Finisterre. The item still does not supply anything about what happened to her. She was underway with a cargo of salt from Spain to Norway with a crew numbering 18 men.(1)
