An item dated London the 12th reported that in the afternoon of the 11th at Chatham the torpedo boat 1st class No. 64 (1) and the cruiser 2nd class Medea (2) collided. Both ships were heavily damaged, of the first the bow and of the latter one side.

Crew numbered 218 men.
