Dredgers Musi and Bromo active in harbour of Tandjong Priok, Dutch East Indies according to the Dutch newspaper Java-bode dated 24 October 1952

An item reported that yesterday morning at Tandjong Priok the large cutter dredger Musi of the USA arrived. She was there used in the swamps south of the port area. Maximum suction depth was 12 metres and she was able to press via the line 500 cubic metres over a distance of 2,5 kilometres each hour. Her dimensions were 49 x 12,20 metres. In the first half of the month arrived the bucket dredger Bromo, built in Germany. With a bucket capacity of 700 litres was she the next weeks to be used for maintenance dredging activities in Tandjong Priok.
