Dutch steamship Batoe sold to Russia according to the Dutch newspaper Nieuwsblad van het Noorden dated 6 May 1935

An item reported that the Dutch steamship Batoe of 6,492 gross tons and build in 1917 was sold by he Stoomvaart Maatschappij Nederland to Russia if the Dutch authorities approved this. She was at that moment laid up at Amsterdam.
