Swedish torpedo boat Hugin visiting the Nieuwediep, Netherlands according to the Dutch newspaper Heldersche en Nieuwedieper Courant dated 23 July 1884

An item reported the arrival a day earlier of the Swedish torpedo boat Hugin commanded by lieutenant 1st class W. von Eikermany coming from London bound for Stockholm.(1) She was newly built in England. After bunkering coal intended she to depart the 23rd.

1. Built at the British shipyard Thornycroft at Chiswick, England and was that year commissioned in the Swedish navy. The Hugin/No. 1 was in 1915 called as a patrol boat Vedettbåt no. 15.In 1923 stricken. With a displacement of 54 (standard)-64 (full load) tons and as dimensions 34,5 x 3,80 x 2,00 metres. The  engine and one boiler supplied 620 hp allowing a speed of 18,5 knots. The armament consisted of 1 gun and2-38,1 cm bow torpedo tubes, in 1915 was the gun removed.
