Ambitious Yugoslavian shipbuilding program according to the Dutch magazine Marineblad 1933 no. 3

An item referred to the magazine Schiffbau dated 15 March 1933 which reported that Yugoslavia intended a huge shipbuilding program to execute before 1936. It consisted of 2-3.000 ton cruisers, 10-900 ton destroyers, 10-500 ton submarines, 12-20 ton torpedo boats, 2 minelayers and 30 MTB’s. The magazine R.U.S.I. Journal dated February 1933 wondered however how Yugoslavia wanted to finance this program regarded her financial problems. The money was to be lent somewhere and in this context was called France.
