Dutch clipper frigate Liberaal laid down at Slikkerveer, Netherlands according to the Dutch newspaper Nieuwe Rotterdamsche Courant dated 11 July 1869

An item dated Rotterdam 10 July 1869 reported that the same day at the shipyard of Jan Smit Fopzn in Slikkerveer the keel was laid down of the clipper frigate Liberaal of 1.100 measured lasten for Jan Smit Fopzn.
