Spain intended in building another three battleships according to the Dutch magazine Marineblad 1912-1913 no. 9

An item reported that the Spanish cabinet intended to built a second squadron of 3-21.000 ton battleships and further more 2-5.000/6.000 ton so-called eclaireurs (reconnaissance vessels) and 3 submarines. The shipyard at Cadiz was to be reorganized including the digging of a dock for ships with a maximum tonnage of 30.000 ton.
