Italy wanted more (super) dreadnoughts according to the Dutch magazine Marineblad 1915-1916 no. 2

An item reported that that the Italian cabinet was negotiating with a British firm to take the two dreadnoughts ordered by a South American country. A building program for the next four years included 12 super dreadnoughts to be armed with 2x5-38cm guns and 14-9cm guns.
